Over the years, one of the fun things about having control over my books is getting the chance to revisit them and occasionally give them a fresh coat of paint.
Or in this case…a fresh cover.
The Pacific Passion collection recently received a new look, and I have to admit it makes me very happy. When these stories first came out, the style of romance covers was a little different. Let’s just say there were a lot of very impressive bare chests involved across the genre.
Now don’t get me wrong—I enjoy those covers just fine. But I’m also rather pleased that romance has moved toward designs that focus a bit more on atmosphere and story. The new cover for Pacific Passion fits beautifully with the other paranormal titles I’ve been creating recently, and it finally feels like these stories belong together on the shelf.
If you’re new to them, this series follows Matt, the new Shamon for the People of the Sea, and Laurin, a runaway from the People of the Air who’s hiding an even bigger secret than her heritage.
Through three connected adventures along the Canadian coast, you’ll get to enjoy some amazing tropes like:
– it’s only for a night
– pretend relationship that feels too right
– fate has plans in store for us!
– plus plenty of supernatural chaos involving air and water shifters.
These stories were some of my earliest experiments with writing the same couple across multiple books, and I had a wonderful time letting their relationship evolve through each adventure.
And yes…the books are still exactly as spicy and wild as I remember. High, high heat warning!
If you enjoy paranormal romance with ocean storms, elemental magic, and a couple who absolutely deserve their happily ever after, the Pacific Passion books are waiting for you.
(Guess what? The Forces of Nature series also got a cover upgrade. This is another of my “Little Bit Off The Wall Paranormal That’s Uber Hot But Damn I Like These Characters Lets Run With It” series. There are two individual books (Tidal Wave and Whirlpool) and also the Forces of Nature boxset that’s available in eBook or very, very pretty print!)
