Whenever I dive into writing a shifter series, I think I know exactly what’s going to happen. (You’d think after this many books I’d have learned better by now!)
When I started Timberwolf Lodge, I had this neat plan: one alpha, one enforcer, one omega. Three women taking on a wilderness lodge that came with some unexpected fine print—namely, wolves. Easy, right?
Except my characters had opinions. Jace insisted he wasn’t just fixing roofs—he was fixing hearts. Del decided the “villain” label didn’t suit him, thank you very much, and he promptly fell for a single mom who could out-stare a grizzly. And Blue… well, Blue showed up in bright colors, full of charm, and quietly stole the entire series.
So now we’ve got three cousins, three sisters/besties, with three very different love stories—and a pack full of happily-ever-afters that still make me smile every time I think of them.
