Today we are looking back at the second book in the Takhini Wolves series, SILVER MINE.

Title: Silver Mine

Heroine: Shelley Bradley – a veterinarian and wolf who lives in the pack as an outcast. Scared of the prospect of falling for Chase.

Hero: Chase Johnson – a crossbreed who lives in the wilderness and acts as the unofficial alpha to the shifters living in the Yukon. Has been infected with an unknown shifter virus, and the clock is ticking.

Tidbit: Part of the fun of writing the Takhini books are getting to slip in moments of real northern history. Not like a lecture, but location really makes a difference in these books. The hero of Silver Mine is Métis First Nations, there’s mention of the Gold Rush, and the location is off the beaten trail, even for books set in the north.
