Lauren Dane, a fabulous writer and one of the reasons I began writing in the first place, has organized Snippet Saturday. Each week a different theme will be the centerpiece for authors to share a little from one of their books. It might be an excerpt of the first kiss, or a fight scene. The author might introduce you to one of their characters in a more in depth way, or my personal favorite, the outtake, where we let you read a scene or section that didn’t make it into the book, for whatever reason.
It sounds to me like an interesting read each week, and I’m very excited by the authors who have expressed interest in taking part. Lauren Dane, Anya Bast, Beth Kery, Cynthia Eden… the list goes on.
I hope you’ll pop back next Saturday for the first week- theme is ‘The Defining Moment’. I’ll share a little and then you’ll get the list of links to surf over to read other snippets from some of the hottest writers around.
In the mean time, there’s a few things to read around here. Some excerpts from my stories, Tuesday Tidbits… take a look around and enjoy!
