It's the dawning of a new week…kind of. I'm nearing the end of Legacy, and think it's going all right so far. A couple more scenes and I'll be done.
So what's after that? Chances are high that I'll have edits starting this week for Wolf Flight. This is exciting, but will cut into new material writing time.
I've emailed out the contract for Soul Deep and as soon as it arrives, Noble should start the process of edits as well. My friend and critique partner Rhian Cahill has a book out with Noble and it was approximately two months from start to finish with her story One Night in Bangkok. That could put the release of Soul Deep as early as sometime in July, when Tidal Wave releases.
Liquid Silver has bumped up the work on the cover of Rocky Mountain Heat in the hopes I'll have it ready for the Lori Foster Reader/Writer conference June 5-7 in Cincinnati. I'm am so looking forward to this conference, where I'll get to meet Rhain and Mari Carr, my CP's, in person, as well as fellow writer Jambrea Jo Jones and graphic artist Val Tibbs from our International Heat group.
There are others I'm looking forward to meeting, like Amy C, Deb and writers I admire like Bianca D'Arc and Lora Leigh and Violet Summers/ Rachel Fox from Liquid Silver, and Angie and Marty from Samhain… man, it's going to be lots of fun and excitement. What a treat to look forward to.
But now, off to work.
