It's time for the monthly update.
I am currently involved in the following:
NO edits! Wolf Flight is done until the Final Line Editor gets back to me. Wow, it seems I end up with edits on two stories at a time. Or nothing.
Legacy is completed at 43K, and one of my beta readers said she stayed up late to finish reading it (thanks Sandie!) which is a very nice compliment. I'm going to add a little more- there's a couple scenes that need tweaking still, so I'll let that story sit for a bit and then get it finished up to submit by the end of August.
My big project is Claiming Derryn, a 25-30K Space Opera I plan on subbing for the call at Samhain due August 10th. I am having sooooo much fun writing this. The ship is called the Nottingham, and the small crew double duties between ship assignments and mission roles ie. the cook is also the assassin. Grin. Other than that, the theme is a bit of a tribute to ‘Tribbles‘. The characters have just shanghaied me -again- and it looks like a menage is in the works.

I have two other stories sitting at 85-90% completed I plan to finish this year, Fae Visions and Wild Card. Plus I'd love to revise Hidden Away. Oh, and book two in the water shifters? Whirlpool is screaming with ideas, and the second in the cowboys…
