Cowboy Countdown- One more day!!

cowboy44
A hard working man… how's that saying go? A good man is hard to find, a hard man is good..sorry, I'm a little distracted here.

The countdown is drawing to a close. Tomorrow afternoon Rocky Mountain Heat releases at Liquid Silver, and I'm going to miss all your fantastic comments at all the blogs! We'll have to do this again when I get around to the next story in the series. Good thing there's six brothers (although that only means 5 books…)

The last place to visit is with Mari Carr. Her recent release at Samhain Publishing is a FABulous romantic suspense–Because of You. Not only can she write up a storm, she's a ton of fun in person…

Be sure to come back tomorrow to find out the winner of the Grand prize. Remember, I'm on Pacific time, so it'll be up by noon eastern. That will give me time to calculate all the comments from all the blogs.

Thanks soooo much for helping me not go insane as I waited for release day. Hugs all around!

Have YOU ever chopped wood? Leave a comment today about that or anything else you want, and then get Carried away with Mari Carr.

I've never chopped wood……I would end up seriously hurting myself if I did. I can't even manage using a knife in the kitchen without cutting myself!!!

That's what I have a husband for.

LOL at JK.

That's why I have a hubby and son, but I've still swung the axe enough myself!

I have made kindling…..

Um…really though…I am not allowed to use sharp objects. I have issues using knives, let alone an ax! lol

Oh no. No chopping wood for me. My husband would not want me to do that. We would be in the hospital. I am extremely clumsy. I have but my foot open, pretty badly, with a butter knife. I dropped the knife, and my reflexes are obvioulsy a little slow.

I always tell my husband, when it comes to any hard work, that is why I got married!

This has been a lot of fun!
Thanks so much

I have only chopped wood to make kindling, or make the blocks smaller.

Hey Viv,

I can honestly say that I've never chopped wood. Where I live,it never gets cold enough for anything like that. I live in Texas where it could be 90 degrees on Christmas Day. The ole saying here is if you don't like the weather, give it 30 minutes and it'll change.

Thanks for the contest!

I have never chopped wood, no… but I know I would certainly love to watch a nice hunky cowboy do it! Or.. any male, really. Actually, I'll watch anyone chop wood, especially if it means I don't have to.

Thanks!

Oh, No!! I can hardly even pick up an axe, much less swing it. I leave that to the men of the family. My son has a fireplace and he has a log splitter. You still have to use an axe!!

Great cowboy!!!

Yes. I actually had to do it for the first time last year after Hurrican Ike. 🙁
Very hard work but had lots of help. I didn't trust myself with the chainsaw.
Either way, I hope never to do it again.

Btw.. Congrats on your new release, Vivian!

I love watching my hubby chop wood. It hot dirty sweaty work and he usually has his shirt off..Oh, all those muscles!! I've got a small axe I keep by the hearth for cutting the small blocks of wood into kindling…But I wouldn't attempt to chop the big stuff.

Congrats on release day!!! And thank you for the contest too!!!

Yes, I have chopped wood. Actually, just two weeks ago to help my folks get ready for the winter on the farm.

If you count taking two swings and saying WTF, then passing it off to my husband, then yes. I would have either killed myself or chopped off myown leg!

Every winter I get to chop wood, though not very often, because my husband loves me. 😉

I'd love to watch this cowboy chop wood.

I;ve never chopped wood…and I think it would be really dangerous for anyone near me if I ever tried.
I might end up chopping something off!
But I wouldn't be against watching a sexy topless cowboy chop some wood 😉

Never! I'm not sure I've ever even handled an axe, and that's probably a good thing in terms of safety for all those around me!

Viv, no wood chopping, but my grandson taught me how to whittle flowers out of wood branchs. Not quite the same thing, but a lot more fun.
