I've got an author to tell you about. She makes me lol and smile and get all weepy. Not at the same time, thank goodness, but often enough that she's become one of my look forward to seeing people at conferences and online. (She rocks the karaoke, btw)
Vicki has a very cool contemp series you need to hear about. The Donovan Brothers is set in a family-owned microbrewery in Boulder, Colorado. Family! Drama! Beer! What's not to love?
There's a novella “Just One Taste” that's in the anthology The Guy Next Door. Click here for more info on “Just One Taste!”
Then the three novels are:
Good Girls Don't (Hqn) | Bad Boys Do (Hqn) | Real Men Will (Hqn)
Books 1 and 2 are out now, and book 3 releases October 25. I've got a copy of book 2, Bad Boys Do, in PRINT that I'll give away to one commentor. The hero? Hmmm, Jamie is delicious!! (He wears a kilt! **swoons**)
Olivia Bishop is no fun. That's what her ex-husband said. And that's what her smart bob and glasses imply. So with her trademark determination, Olivia sets out to remake her life. She's going to spend time with her girlfriends and not throw it all away for some man. But when an outing with her book club leads her to a brewery taproom, the dark-haired beauty realizes that trouble—in the form of sexy Jamie Donovan—may be too tempting to avoid.
Jamie Donovan doesn't mean to be bad. Sure, the wild streak in his wicked green eyes has lured the ladies before. Now it's time to grow up. He's even ready for a serious romance. But how can that be when Olivia, the only right woman he has ever met, already has him pegged as wrong?
To be entered to win: What stereotypes/cliches are just so sexy you still love them? The kilts? Aussie accents? What makes a guy a total winner for you? I'll draw for a winner and announce next Monday. Have fun! (Yes, international entries are fine!)

The bad boys with an accent are always a winner for me. You know you aren’t supposed to go after them but they are so sexy that you can’t help it. I love Victoria’s books and I’m excited to read this new series. Thanks for the giveaway.

A Scottish accent and a kilt makes me lightheaded and sweaty. No kidding. EVERY time. Sigh.
A cowboy with manners who utters darlin’ to the heroine makes me giddy. Geesh:)
**swoons** 😉
Y’all gonna love the cowboys! 😀
I still love the alpha male who thinks the universe spins around his woman because she is all that and a bag of chips! Ahhh, dreamy! Thanks for the giveaway. I have been looking at these books and thinking hmmmm….but I have almost a 1,000 books in mount TBR so I was reluctant to get anything new. I would love the chance to read one of the books.

I like the English accents, the secret baby, the Scottish Highland lairds with kilts, the amnesia suffering husband or fiancee….lol……I like a lot of the traditional romance tropes. Thanks for the giveaway!
I have a couple I am addicted too
1. bad boys in leather with long hair
2. construction worker/carpenter with scottish burr (preferably a bit scruffy and beardy. Must wear flannel – until its hot, then he has to take it off. DROOL)
3. cowboys in tight jeans who calls the heroine “Darlin'”
4. tormented vamp
*SIGH*
Oh, yes! The accent! Yumm!:P
it doesn’t even matter! It could be a british, scottish, aussie or Canadian accent! LOL!:D
and of course the tattoos! It kills me everytime!:)
great post and thanks for the giveaway! I can’t wait to read this book!:P
Accents..English, Irish, Aussie..it really does not matter.
Great post! Thanks
I do like accents, especially the British and Aussie ones. I also have a thing for the tall, dark and handsome type.
Oh yeah the kilts get me too. With boots. Bad boys get me as well. Love Victoria Dahl books.

I’m torn between the cowboy types who know how to wear a pair of faded Levis low on their hips and the military black ops/special ops guys ripping the place apart with their semi-automatic weapons and taking down the enemy with their bare hands.
Accents are really hot. *fans self* Medieval lords/lairds with great big broadswords and too much arrogance are also a weakness of mine. 😀
I read the novella recently and am looking forward to reading all of the books!
Gotta love the foreign accents… oh my how sexy!
Scottish accents! Talk about swooning! Kilts aren’t half bad either 😉
I’m all for the Bad Boys! Can’t get enough of them. They would be so bad for one in real life but in romance novels they are one of my favourites. Now, a bad boy in a kilt would be just awesome. 🙂
His sense of humour is definitely important. I like a man who is rugged, down to heart, has a huge heart and has a bit of a drawl or accent. Can’t forget the intense eyes which, yes cliche as it is, really are the window to his soul. I would love to read Bad Boys Do!
I just can’t get enough of the alpha me/wolves that treat their mates like equals. *Please don’t enter me-I have all three ebooks, and I’d like to give others a chance to enjoy as well.
