The Wolfie World Tour continues today at Larissa’s Bookish Life. There's a hot excerpt up there today!
Ready for another of my name twins? The awesomesauce Vivi Andrews is in the house, with her lovely paranormal Karmic Consultants series.
Here are her quick Twitter-proof answers from the hero/heroine of A Cop and A Feel (Did I mention she also puts puns in her titles? My WORD, there is SOOoooo much to love about this woman!)
1. What was your heroine’s favourite subject at school?
Ronna: Theatre. Nothing quite like the pageantry of the stage. I'd take any chance to play at being inside someone else's skin.
2. How would your hero deal with packing for an extended trip?
Matt: Toothbrush. Gun. Good to go.
3. Where would h/h go for a first anniversary getaway?
Matt: It's gotta be Italy, to show my Tomato the true meaning of pizza.
Ronna: And to see Carnivale in Venice!
A COP AND A FEEL: Book 5, Karnic Consultants
He’s going to be the love of her life…if they survive the night.
With a single touch, Ronna Mitchell can catch stolen glimpses of the future and separate truth from lies. But life as a human polygraph machine can be lonely. Craving human contact, she moonlights as a palm reader whenever a carnival comes to town.
Officer Matt Holloway is intent on trailing a hit man when he ducks into a palm reader’s booth to avoid being spotted by his quarry. The beguiling Jamaican fortune teller is definitely intriguing, but she’ll have to wait. He’s close on the assassin’s tail.
When Ronna takes his hand, a startling vision of the future flashes in her mind’s eye. Matt isn’t a typical client, he’s The One. Before she has the chance to introduce herself as the mother of his unborn children, he’s gone, leaving her with a terrifying vision of her soul mate covered in blood. And dead certain she’s the only one who can save her happily ever after.

I’ve never visited a fortune teller, but a high school friend’s mom read palms and she read mine. She said I would have a three kids, a husband and live a long and happy life. She was wrong on the kids and the husband, so I’m hoping she at least got the long happy life correct.
I haven’t, but I’ve been tempted (just for fun, not that I believe) because there’s one near work who frequently hangs out a $5 sign.
I have never visited a fortune teller, but am curious about it, might be interesting to see what they tell me.
I have never visited a fortune teller . Have never been at all interested enough to be honest, what will be will be 🙂

Nope. But I did love that short and sweet interview! 🙂
I have! I live near Baltimore and there was a restaurant called The Palmer House (or something like that); they specialized in reading fortunes and palms. This guy used a regular deck of cards and the things he told me spanned from 6 months ago to the next 2 years. He also wrote down everything he told me. I kept the sheet of paper and would check it every few months. A couple of things did come true, though they weren’t any “life changing events”, like hitting the lottery! LOL
I Have done Tarot readings with people that have a gift. I tend to believe there are things out there that can show us the way when we get lost of confused in the journey of life
Nope, I’ve never visited one.
I do love Vivi’s books though. And if a fortune teller read me he/she’d tell me that I’d be reading this one. 😀 I like this series; it’s fun and saucy!
I’ve never been to a fortune teller but I am curious about them. I don’t necessarily believe they have special powers but I think they’re really good at reading people.
Nope, not yet anyway 🙂 Now you’ve got my attention on the subject; who knows what my future may hold now. I’ve been around a few people who could read palms but nothing big.
I had the unique privilege when I was in grade school, jr high and some of high school to have a family in my neighbor that were gypsy. Yes. Not the wandering family, but a stable family in our community. Linda & Peggy Marks are my age, and when I was in the 6th grade Linda read my palm. Can I remember that far back? Hell no….lol. And for the life me I have no memory as to what was said other than it didn’t scare me. So I’m guessing it was too bad…*S*
Loving the blog tour thanks you so much for teh contest!

I meant to write never gone to a fortune teller…
Nope, never visited one. I’m curious though.

Yes, I love fortune tellers!
I have never visited a fortune teller, but always wanted to. I didn’t know anyone who could read fortunes or tarots and was afraid I would end up with a fake.

My grandmother, mother and aunts fancied themselves fortunetellers. At gatherings they would read palms and tea leaves and argue when they didn’t agree on a ‘reading’.
Have never even seen a fortune teller.
I haven’t but a friend did. Some parts were quite accurate but some seemed like speculative fishing 😉
Don’t enter me because I bought this already— just wanted to say how great Vivi’s series is. I loved every single one of them!
The only fortune teller I visited was one in 3rd or 4th grade at the Halloween Carnival in school. LOL She was no where near as cool as Ronna:)
I have never visited a fortune teller but I’ve been tempted many times before. Occasionally I see them at the local mall with a set up station. There are also ones in the classifieds which seem genuine. I might one of these day, but I might need some convincing to believe their fortunes.
I loved “A Cop and a Feel” but don’t have the entire series so thanks for the chance to win another wonderful book 🙂

Well, this is a banner day, two of my favorite authors in one place! For anyone who has not read the Karmic Consultants series by Vivi Andrews, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it as much as Vivian’s books! I kinda got hooked on both authors around the same time through ebooks first, and now keep going with them (can hardly wait for Karma’s story) on my Kindle. I even got my sister reading the books and she was always reading murder mysteries before, how’s that for a change?!?! I’m pretty sure the 6 pack ranch series would get her hooked on to Vivian’s stories too…but that will be for another release, right? For now, only a mere few days before the next wolfie book….can hardly wait!!! Thankfully it’s one of my preorders so I’ll get to wake up that morning and it will be on my Kindle!
See, I was so excited I forgot to answer the question!
Yes, I have been to see fortune tellers/psychics and the best one told me she can give me an idea of where I’m headed, but the future can still be changed with my choices. She was a really neat lady!
I went to 1 fortune teller many years ago. I think she told me the guy I was with at the time was the one. She was wrong. 🙂
This series sounds great, definitely going to have to check it out.
I have never visited a fortune teller. I have no real interest. I have, however, read this entire series. It great! My favorite is The Sexorcist and my second is A Cop and A Feel. I can hardly wait to see what you come up with next.
I love the books both you ladies write. I never visited a fortune teller, but there was one at a high school graduation party. It was a fun addition to the evening.
I received a Vivi sampler book at RWA in NY and I loved it, reading all the first chapters made me want the books so I’d say that’s some good promo there.

Vivi, this sounds awesome. Are your books in print or ebook form???
