The Wolfie World Tour continues today at Ex Libris. Be sure to stop by!
Friends at Home Party welcomes the dynamic duo who make up Moira Rogers. These ladies, Donna and Bree, have been a special part of my life for the past couple years now. They understand the tough times, poke me when I need it, and celebrate with me, like I get to celebrate with them!
Today is special because not only can I introduce them (Moira) to you,but it's release day for book four in their fabulous Southern Arcana series. I'm giving away some of the earlier books, but Cipher is available officially for the first time today!
Moira(Bree) shares why she loves writing paranormal:
My favorite thing about writing paranormal romance is the chance to explore the ways we're all the same. You can take themes of persecution and prejudice out of our world and frame them in a supernatural way that forces us to consider unexpected perspectives, but the romance ties it back to one of the most basic human emotions–love. There's nothing more rewarding for me than taking characters on a path through the darkest bits of what it means to not be human, then to bring them back to the best bit of humanity: our ability to care for someone else more than we care about ourselves.
CIPHER: Book Four, Southern Arcana
Fourteen months ago, Kat Gabriel's life changed forever when she used her empathy as a weapon. Now she can't escape the weight of those deaths–or the loss of the easy friendship she and Andrew once shared. Obsessed with her mother's violent past, Kat is determined to learn the truth of her inner-darkness by understanding her legacy.
Since the attack that turned him into a wolf, Andrew Callaghan has done everything possible to make himself stronger. More capable of protecting Kat–both from the supernatural world that forced her to kill, and from their own volatile connection. Pushing her away hurt them both, but he's finally made himself into the protector she needs.
As Kat's quest leads her into the darkest underbelly of the psychic world, Andrew is determined to be at her side. But every step forward reopens old emotional wounds and shakes their control. For a dangerous alpha and a deadly psychic, distraction could be fatal–especially when the greatest threat they pose is to each other.

I have to say the HARRY POTTER books. I re-read the books before the last movie & felt incredibly sad that there were no more.

This is probably going to sound crazy with all the books in the series already but Outlander with Jamie and Claire. I hate the waiting in between books. I cannot get enough of this series or Karen Marie Moning’s Highlander series. Love Highlanders. Can you tell . lol
Thanks for this opportunity. I’d love to win Book 1 as I haven’t read this series yet. (Which is now on my TRL).

I would have to say the Alpha and Omega Series by Patricia Briggs. I can’t stand the waiting between books. I love the characters and the story line.
I agree with Carol L about the Outlander series. Two other series are Josh Lanyon’s Adrien English series and D.N. Simmons KOTDC. Both series are amazing.
I have to agree with Carol — Karen Marie Moning’s Highlander series would be great to have some more of!!
Also … I’d like to read more of:
Tales of an Extraordinary Girl Series – by Gena Showalter
Forces of Nature Series – by YOU
The Iron Fey Series – by Julie Kagawa
Chicago Stars Series – by Susan Elizabeth Phillips
Children of the Goddess Series – by R. G. Alexander
Vampire Academy Series – by Richelle Mead
Those are just a few that I can think of, so there are probably more …. =0)
I wish there were more books in the Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost because it’s one of my favourite series and we can never get enough of Bones! 😉

I’m going to say that I love Moira Rogers’ new books but I really miss the Red Rock Pass characters and wish there could have been more…I know it’s important to move on. Sigh. I love those characters though. LOL
Right now, I am really wishing for more books in Larissa Ione’s Demonica series. Although I did enjoy the first book in the spin off series. Pretty much any series I really enjoy, I don’t like to see end. I love the repeat characters and the way secondary characters later get their own stories told. The longer the series, the more you get to know the characters, they become more real, and as long as the stories remain fresh and interesting, I never want to see them end.

Oh wow, that is a hard question! I wish there were more books in Jennifer Armintrout’s Blood Ties series.
Yes, definitely a tough question!! I’d have to agree on the Children of the Goddess series by R. G. Alexander. I also wish that Patricia Briggs could write the Mercy Thompson books faster and that Ilona Andrews could write their Kate Daniels books faster too! 😀
Amazon delivered my copy of Cipher 8 hours early so I finished it about 10:30 PM last night and it was wonderful!! Southern Arcana is one of my favorite series. Sigh, now I’ll have to re-read it a few times as I blew through it so quick!
I wish there were more books in Karen Marie Moning’s Fever series, and Larissa Ione’s Demonica series.

This is a hard question. I agree with Carol, I would love to see more of Karen Marie Moning’s Highlander series. I also like to see more of Vivi Andrews’s Serengeti Shifters Series faster.
I LOVE series books and wish my favorite authors would write faster. Some I can think of off the top of my head are….Larissa Ione/Demonica series and Chicago Stars/SEP.
The Oracle series by Alayna Williams.
I’m so in love with Tara! (and Voodoo Bride with Harry btw)
I am going with Karen Marie Moning’s Fever series. The series has ended, although more books set in the Fever world are in the works. I wish there were stories srurrounding Mac and Barrons.
I would love more stories in the Alpha and Omega by Patricia Briggs. I love the characters in the series and would love to read more of them.

Agree with others with the suggestion of more books in the Outlander series and Karen Marie Moning’s Highlander series, have enjoyed reading those books immensely.
I would have to say I wish there were more books or stories in Shelly Laurenston’s Magnus Pack series. I understand why there weren’t anymore, but I always wondered if she would write the story of Zach’s litter sister and her relationship with Nic’s little brother.
Thanks for the giveaway.

There are so many series’ I’d like to see more of-Jeanienne Frost’s Cat & Bones books, Keri Arthur’s Riley Jenson series, Lori Handeland’s NightCreature books, and of course the Wolfies of Vivian Arend (can’t stop loving those wolfies)
Kendra Leigh Castles Highland Werewolves… enjoyed the 3 books in the series… was hoping for more!
I wish there were more books in Rachel Vincent’s Shifters series.
Larissa Ione’s Demonica series!
Hmm can’t think of any off the top of my head but then not thinking much today. Just finished Cypher yesterday. Was lucky enough to win an ecopy right when I needed it as off sick. Now I want more immediately lol. Love the Southern Arcadia series. (please don’t enter me as alreay have them all 🙂 )
I have seen a lot of series list here. I was sad when Demonica series was over but the characters continue to be part of the Horsemen series. Shifter series by Rachel Vincent and Riley Jensen series by Keri Arthur I was sad when they ended and would have loved more. But I think I was really bummed when I heard that the Karen Leigh Castle’s highland wolf series was only a trilogy. I wanted more!

I always end up wishing an author had stopped at the point that I wanted more. It makes me sad when a series goes on too long. However, Lauren Dane’s Brown Siblings series last book came out todat. On the one hand, A-D-R-I-A-N! (If you haven’t read the series, you simply must.) But, then there are no more and that is sad. But I know Lauren Dane will come up with another series for me to love!

Keri Arthur’s Riley Jensen series even though there’s a spin off.
