I can't resist! This coming Tuesday is the official release for a couple books I'm really looking forward to seeing, so I'm going to make this a holiday /giveaway weekend. PRIZES TIME!!!! 😀
Alisha Rai and Moira Rogers (Bree and Donna) are fellow writers at Samhain, and good friends, and I've had the pleasure of reading both these books already (BOY OH BOY!!). You want them. You know you do. To check out the blurbs/excerpts, click on the pictures, then come on back to enter.
Here's how to add your name to win one of these eBooks. Add a comment to this post and either share your favorite flavour of pie OR your choice– merlot or cabernet. 😀
(And once you read the books you'll understand why.)
Contest is open all weekend until Monday morning (for me, which is about 10am east coast time) Winners will get their choice of ebook format. I'll pick two winners. Good luck!!

Not a wine drinker so I wouldn’t even know the difference between Merlot and Cabernet but Apple Pie (with custard) is my favourite flavoured pie.
Never had wine but I do enjoy Lemonade Icebox Pie or a Hershey Bar Pie. 🙂
My favorite pie is rhubarb! Yummy!
Not a big wine drinker but love Candy Bar Pie! I hadn’t heard about Veiled Seduction but now I’m looking forward to both titles!
Pecan is my overall favorite, but my summer time favorite is strawberry rhubarb!
I loved the first Veiled book, so I’m glad Sasha’s story is out!
Strawberry Rhubarb? Yummy!! That’s my hubbies fav too.
Key Lime Pie, Love all your books!
I have to choose just one?!!! Hmm… My mom makes a mean blueberry pie, which is delicious with vanilla ice cream . Yum!
(Both titles are on my TBB list and I’m impatiently waiting for Tuesday.)
Not a pie person but will always choose a cab over merlot.
Hi, Viv! I’ll answer both questions-my favorite pie is cheesecake (hey you make it in a pie pan), and I love Merlot.
I can’t wait for Veiled Seduction to come out. Is it Tuesday yet??
I love a good cab, or a slice of pumpkin pie! Since pumpkin pie is harder to find if it’s not autumn, I also love a good blueberry pie.
And pie is never ever complete without a squirt of whipped cream or helping of vanilla ice cream.
Love Alisha Rai’s books, too!
Merlot – had some last night and it was delish
Pie — Pumpkin all the way with fresh whipped cream — yum!
Oh wow, that’s a tough decision. But after much deliberation I’d say Key Lime. Especially now that it’s summer, there’s nothing like citrus flavor.
favorite pie is strawberry/rhubarb
Lately my favorite has been oddly enough Banana Cream pie with a merlot.
Can’t wait to read the next installment of the Red Rock Pass series!!!!
I don’t like pie… but I go cabernet. My parents are win snobs and they tell me that Merlot is the equalivent of really cheap beer. 🙂
not a big wine drinker but I would say lemon meringue is my favorite pie
Blueberry pie slightly warm ala mode. I didn’t even have to think about this one. Although pumpkin with tons of whipped cream is a close second.
Not much of a drinker…. love love love my grandmother’s recipe for Pumpkin pie! 😀
I like white wine more than red so I’ll have to go with fave pie : pecan a la mode.
Oh Ms. Arend, you are as sweet as Sasha’s cherry pie. But I’m a little surprised you don’t have something coming out this Tuesday too. I thought you were on a weekly release schedule now…
😉
And I’m soooo excited to hear you guys are excited! Sasha is impatient for you to read his story. Then again, he’s just an impatient kind of guy.
I gave up the weekly releases- need more time to write!
Key Lime Pie is my favorite and I like Merlot. Congrats to Alisha and Moira on their upcoming releases.
My favorite pie is my mom’s homemade Chess Pie it’s the best. When she makes them she’ll make me one to take home.
Mmm… pie… mud pie is a winner, although I can never resist a fresh apple a la mode. And strawberry is excellent, too… Um… can I just admit to loving pies in general? 🙂
I love my brothers homemade Banana Cream Pie, 2nd place is his Chocolate Cream Pie.
Everything is from scratch.
Favorite flavor of pie, gee it’s a toss-up between banana cream, coconut cream, chocolate, cherry, or Boston cream pie. Loved it when my Aunt Babe would bake, now she can’t bake anymore because of macular degeneration the wet variety, miss those days, she was an awesome baker.
Robin
My favorite pie is pecan. Yum!
Cabernet for wine and about pies… I love them too much so I cannot decide! 😉
I love banana cream pie yum!
Just so you all know, I’m NEVER asking a question like this again for a prize. I’m DROOLING reading my emails.
I’m going pie shopping this afternoon and it’s all your fault!!
Difficult decisions! My fav wine would be a cab and my fav pie..apple.. now I’m hungry just thinking about pie 😉
Pie? Chicken pie (no, just kidding…) Rhubarb Custard pie.
Merlot or Cabernet? What? I have to choose? Why can’t I like both? (and Chardonnay, and ice wine of any sort, and Pinot Noir, and Chateauneuf du Pape…ok, now I’m just dreaming, as I’ve never been able to afford that one…)
Kate, I have a bottle of ice wine in my cupboard with your name on it. Just saying…
(Everyone, Kate is part of the reason I’m writing. I <3's her)
Viv, as for the pie shopping, I have to say that you really brought that upon yourself! Asking such a deliciously loaded question can only have such foreseen consequences 🙂 Hope you picked up something scrumptious… so, did you?
Lemon Meringue.
😀
