It's time for another feature on one of International Heat's members. Mari Carr.
Sweet, wonderful Mari.

I've been trying to think of what to do that would be different. I mean, I could feature some of Mari's books, and not even overlap with the other ladies in International Heat since she writes at the speed of a rocket. I could tell you about her love for a drink (of tea :wink:), her wonderful laugh and her amazing ability to see right into the heart of a story and NAIL feedback.

But I bet as you travel the blogs you're going to see those things mentioned a lot about Mari and I wanted to do something completely different. So here we have it. The definitive summary on one of the finest writers in International Heat. Oh, and just so you can have a taste of what it's like when we chat amongst ourselves…we use the initials for our books and at times it gets REALLY confusing. 🙂

ER started the whole shabing, with an editor and a writer having a fling
Then KMK hit the world, another writer and her sweetie take a turn
TT still hits the top, because three great friends don't want to stop
They'll never Retreat from doing what's right (and kitchen counters are just the right height)
We CL we need to learn, about writing so fast the pages burn
But since S&S and EN are delivered with style, we'll just sit back and read with a smile
She's given us NR and NC, it's like we're pulled along by a magical force
That makes us NEED to read some Mari, Spitfire and lightning aren't as scary
As thinking about what I would do, If I hadn't learned what I've learned BoY.

And to finish, it's only right that I pay homage to my favorite line EVER from Mari. I love it so much, I had to add it to my latest story in her honor.
