I am pretty impartial. It doesn’t really matter to me, as long as the writing is good, and the emotions are intense. However, if the story has a paranormal spin to it, that makes it even better. Or if it is a historical.

Oh!! I just realized that Tidal Wave has both a ‘friends to lovers’ and paranormal twists, so I guess I do some stories in that theme.

I like it when ex lovers meet again in the future and fall in love all over again.
Maybe old friends becoming lovers would be interesting, and maby not easy to write. Old friends most of the cases means they don’t have sexual attraction but they loves being together, have a great time and trust.
Or, on of the two people (mostly the woman) loves the other, but hides it for years. This was happened with me. I even went to a point to introduce other womans for him (his first fiancée…..), because i thought that i am not enough pretty and perfect for him, and can’t make him happy. You know he is a musician, intelligent, tall handsome, and a very kind guy. I didn’t even understand why he spends his time with me.
After years and broke ups, i confessed my feelings. (We both had relationships, but i couldn’t felt that i have a real closure.) So i confessed, and was afraid that our friendship will end. (We were best-friends since the 2nd year of highschool – FYI now i am 26.) Do you know what was his first question? “Why didn’t you tell me sooner, it could be really hard for you.” After that he also said that he always felt but couldn’t articulate a feeling that he can’t give me something what i need.
After confessing, i felt so much freedom. I was ready to start a new relationship.
Now we are still best friends, he married. I don’t have a bitter aftertase or anything else. I realised that my first love wasn’T based on reality and he is not the man who can love me the way i want (we also has very different taste in sex etc), but i have a friend who is always there for me no matter what, and who i can show my most embarrasing faces, and he still be with me.
It’s funny that even after this, i always believe that for a long lasting happy relationship one should be friends first and only after being freinds and know each other can develope deeper feelings.

I too think that you need to be friends first. And in some cases being lovers is far less important than being friends.
