Day two and the first print romance book that brought me into this gig. Hubby and I were on holidays and I'd already gone through all the books I had with me. I spotted this intriguing looking gentlemen (damn, love those eyes…) on the shelf at the drugstore and the rest is history.
Sherrilyn Kenyon? Cool book. Wonder if she has anymore.
My jaw hit the ground when I discovered…umm, hello? LOTS more. I was a kid in a candy shop. I love finding an author when the series is in full swing.
A nice twist of paranormal, heat and fantasy mixed together and I was addicted. My favorite book–Night Play–Vane And Bride.
What can I say? I'm all about the werewolves!
Today's prize is a print copy of One Silent Night.
While the world carries on unawares, Stryker, who leads an army of demons and vampires, is plotting an all out onslaught against his enemies—which, unfortunately for us, includes the entire human race. To avenge his sister, Stryker prepares to annihilate the Dark-Hunters. But things go awry when his oldest enemy returns. Enter his ex-wife. Zephyra. Just when he thought nothing could stop him, he’s now embroiled in a centuries old war with a shrew who gives new meaning to pain.

Wren Tigerian. One of my all time favorite heroes.
I haven’t read any Sherrilyn Kenyon books. I’m afraid to admit that I hesitate for the fear of getting hooked on her, knowing she has a huge backlist! I wouldn’t have any time to dedicate to any other authors if that happened.
I know what you mean- I’m like that with Nora’s/JD Robb’s ‘In Death’ series. I think you could pull a couple books from this series, especially ones near the beginning, and enjoy them without having to consume the whole list…but it would be hard!
Just popping in to comment-I have this one. As a matter of fact I have both the ebook and the print version. I have all of the Dark-Hunter books in some for or other, but the whole set in ebook. My favorite book-although part of it is brutal, it would have to be Acheron. I mean tall, sexy and downright deadly, he is all that stands between people and total annihilation. Second favorite character would be Savitar.
I haven’t read any od Sherrilyn Kenyon books. But I’m always told its a great series and I need to read them.
Add me to the group who has not read any Sherrilyn Kenyon books. The number of books in this series is overwhelming to me and I have so many series I read already.
Just stopping by to comment- already have the book…for some reason I just can’t seem to get into it…I keep trying though and I will eventually be in the right mood to read it!
I love Kenyon and even unknowingly loved MacGregor! And even though it is extremely long, my favorite is Acheron.
I have seen her name around, but I have not actually picked up one of her books…
Don’t sign me up for this. I’ve read the entire DH series thus far and can’t get enough. It’s a great series and Acheron’s story was my fave. I’d been waiting for it and had such high expectations. And I was not disappointed, it was sssoooo good.
I was just wondering do you have to really read all the books in order, so that you can understand Acheron’s story better? I’ve the book for awhile but I haven’t read yet for fear I might get confused.
You could probably understand it without the others. But it would make a lot more sense and be more emotional knowing what Acheron’s gone through for so long.
I think the first half of the book–the history part–would be just as powerful to a reader who hasn’t read all the books. Maybe they won’t have the same emotional attachment to Ash, but heck, I fell in love with him day one. 🙂
It’s the second half of the story that you might not know a few players, but that doesn’t usually bother me too much.
I’d love to win this copy -I haven’t read any Sherrilyn Kenyon books
I love Sherrilyn Kenyon’s books it’s really hard to pick my favorite because every time I read one I think it’s my favorite. I have to say though that I’ve read Seize The Night (Valerius & Tabitha) & Night Play (Vane & Bride) over and over. If you’ve not read her books you don’t know what your missing. Although One Silent Night is one of the two that I had a hard time getting into.
Have read Sherrilyn Kenyon books, but don’t have a favorite. I enjoyed the all.
I haven’t read One Silent Night, but I do have a few Sherrilyn Kenyon books. Seems I need more time to catch up on her series.
I haven’t read One Silent Night yet, but I do have like three or four of Sherrilyn Kenyon’s I started reading them out of order which I hate doing except for certain circumstances.
This series does have a reading order but I don’t know if it’s absolutely necessary or not, anyway my favorite book? That’s tough since it’s a dead tie between Night Play and Seize the Night, I really like Valerius! Vane’s a close second though, and I do mean a CLOSE second!
I’m so bad since I have a couple of her books but have not read them yet.
No not me but my daughter, she has everything that she has written she is obsessed and says she is the best author ever
It is “Dream Chaser”! Sherrilyn has a lot of great reads in a variety of genres, and she is very interactive with her fandom : )
Too funny! I’m planning on a re-read over the summer.

I haven’t read any Sherrilyn Kenyon books – she has so many books out there I don’t know where to start!
I stumbled into her books when I was over in the U.S. and browsing through a bookstore. The sales lady recommended it to me and and “Fantasy Lover” is still my all-time favourite! although I have a number of her books.
BTW, I’m an international reader.
i confess i havent had the pleasure of reading any of her books they all sound awesome just havent had the funds to pick up any as of yet btw congrats on ur 1yr!
I’ve read all her DH series and most of her historical romances…love her Camelot series and can’t wait to read the newest….The DH and Camelot’s are definite keepers.
I have Sherrilyn Kenyon’ Fantasy Lover but haven’t read it, yet. I’ve heard so many good things about this series and I look forward in starting it.
I am reading this series right now and I think my favorite was Night Pleasure with Amanda and Kyrain. I would love to wake up handcuffed to a very hot guy.
I have read Sherrilyn’s books. My favorite is “Bad Attitude.”
My aunt recommended her books to me last summer, but I still haven’t bought them….I usually pick a book in a series like this at the UBS and try it out to see if I like the story…and if I do…I’m off to get all their books.
Come to think on it…maybe that’s why they are never in my local UBS….everybody keeps them on their shelf???
Looove Sherrilyn Kenyon. My favorite would have to be Acheron. I would love to read One Silent Night. It is on my wishlist.
I love Sherrilyn Kenyon ~~ My fav’s are numerous, lol, but I’d have to say that Zarek holds a special place in my heart. I’ve read One Silent Night, loved it, so don’t enter me, but had to comment!!
