Into the last stretch and it's time to turn up the heat. I was going through my list of early ebooks I purchased, and then checking on the shelf for print book keepers and found a lot of them seemed to be by the same author.
Maya Banks.
She's one of the authors I've followed from ebook to print, and enjoyed these steamy reads. I like that she's still putting out novella ebooks with Samhain, and I like that she's got hot books in print.
Today's prize is a PRINT copy of Sweet Seduction.
He was the stuff erotic dreams are made of
Salon owner Julie Stanford wanted Nathan Tucker ever since she gave him his first massage. Getting paid to feel every inch of his body, stripped, oiled, and spread out in front of her? Stuff dreams are made of. But the sexy lug was oblivious to the signals she was sending—until she finished off his final rub-down with something extra. In fact, the best extra he ever had. Unfortunately, he came around too late. Now Julie’s moving on…
She was everything he’d dreamed of
The woman was driving him crazy. She lit fire to his insides then ran like a scalded cat. And now she’s going to someone else to have all her fantasies fulfilled? Over his dead body… He’s more than willing to give her what she wants, and as soon as he pins the little minx down, he’d show her his own brand of sweet seduction.

I like my heat level at 10+, thank you very much! Though a little innuendo is nice for a change of pace every now and then….
Definitely HAWT, lol. Most of what I read is at least 8 or higher, although I do still like to throw in a YA or juvenile title once in awhile to mix it. In a romance though- I want to read everything 😉
Sometimes I want “heart with heat”, and other times only “heat with heart” will do : )
It depends on my mood. I read sweet and I read scalding hot.
I love innuendos when flirting but I want heat when it come down to it.
I read the full range but definitely leaning towards 101 :o)
I move all along the scale, but when I’m reading erotica I want it at a 10!
I agree with everyone else. When I’m in the mood for it to be spicy and hot I am a 10, but there are times when a 2 or 3 is great. It depends on the writing.
Like everyone else I want a Hot 10 when reading an erotic tale. It also depends on the writing .
I’m always changing it up. But I love hot when you get right down to it.

I like to burn my fingers reading romance-the hotter the better. Doesn’t mean I don’t like the hidden passion and innuendo from time to time as a change of pace. On the 1-10 scale, give me a 15, okay?
I’ll go through a period of time where I will read sweet romantic books that don’t have descriptive sex scenes. Then I change and read nothing but erotic romances. I like all different kinds of heat levels.
I like my books hot, hot, hot. Of course description is good, but dirty talk is fun too.
It really depends on my mood… sometimes sweet is what I want and other times really really HAWT! 😉
I’ve pushed the envelope in my reading habits on my romance books. I like them HAWT and descriptive!!!
LOL, then I go to funny, sweet, sexy romps while my corneas are recovering from the singe factor if I can find my eyeballs to place back into my head. *giggle*
