Perhaps it's appropriate that this week with the release of Tidal Wave my home town is finally experiencing summer. Glorious, sunshiny, HOT summer. The forecast calls for 35+ Celsius all week.
I've floated down the river, been to the beach, the pool and the rope swing under the railroad tracks. I've breathed a huge sigh of relief I got all my tasks done before Tuesday and just been relaxing.
In the next couple of days I'm planning on getting back into the swing of things with writing. Celebrating a release is fun, but writing is exciting as well. And maybe that's the best part of all this year–I'm discovering I still find joy in every part of the journey.
Thanks again to those who have written to tell me they enjoyed Tidal Wave. It's #4 at MB&M!! WooHOO!!
I am guest blogging today at Embrace the Shadows, a fabulous group of Paranormal Romance lovers. I also got word that You Gotta Read reviewed Soul Deep, my short story with Noble Publishing. Nice feedback!
Hopefully by the end of the week I'll have other things to report in terms of moving ahead with new works. For now, the sunshine and the beach are calling.
