Ready for a quick flash back through time?
2007– Took part in Nanowrimo in November (to be able to go to the coffee shop sans kids once a week) and somehow finished a book and fell in love with writing.
2008– Submitted a novella to a publisher in May and sold it!
2009– WOLF SIGNS released in March

I guess what I'm truly saying is that in publishing, years are random, since we're now at 13 years from Wolf Signs, but 14.5 years from Nanowrimo.
And we're over 20 years from the hiking trips where I used to tell my children stories to keep them walking!
It really is a journey.
Here's a couple of fun things to leave you with.
When I started writing, my children were very young. They wanted to celebrate my releases, so my husband made a knickknack shelf, and every time a book came out, they'd give me a little item that fit the theme of the book.
The idea was to do this for ALL my books, but after the shelf got full, and I kept writing, we kind of let it slide, and I picked other ways to celebrate the milestones.
The shelf still makes me very happy.
Here's what it looks like, and close ups on some of the items. And if you're curious as to why that item, you might have to go read the book!
Thanks for joining me for a moment of remembering.
And thanks for being interested in romance, and happily-ever-afters. I love getting to do what I do, and it's all because of you.
