Moving into high gear today. This challenge might make you squirm:
Give away a book (or two)
I readily admit to cheating on this one. Since I’m reading more and more ebooks, I’ve been cutting back my print collection. As I replace beloved books in digital format, I’ve been passing on the print version to try and hook others…I mean, to share my love of reading.
If you have a book on your shelf that you simply love–why not pass it on to another to enjoy?
Now, I have two new books to give today to a commentor- Ride is a signed copy. [edited to add they are BOTH signed copies] You don’t HAVE to give away a book to enter, just leave a comment. But I hope you take up the challenge!
Welcome to Spindle Cove, where ladies with delicate constitutions come for the sea air, and men in their prime are…nowhere to be found.
Or are they?
Spindle Cove is the destination of choice for certain types of well-bred young ladies: the painfully shy, young wives disenchanted with matrimony, and young girls too enchanted with the wrong men. It is a haven for those who live there.
Victor Bramwell, the new Earl of Rycliff, knows he doesn't belong here. So far as he can tell, there's nothing in this place but spinsters…and sheep. But he has no choice, he has orders to gather a militia. It's a simple mission, made complicated by the spirited, exquisite Susanna Finch–a woman who is determined to save her personal utopia from the invasion of Bram's makeshift army.
Susanna has no use for aggravating men; Bram has sworn off interfering women. The scene is set for an epic battle…but who can be named the winner when both have so much to lose?
What happens in Vegas…sometimes follows you home.
Studs in Spurs, Book 3
Pro bull rider Chase Reese knew things move faster than an eight-second ride in Las Vegas. He just never expected to be driving home with a national championship under his belt and a wedding band on his left hand with no clue how it got there.
Yet he can’t complain about the stripper bride beside him. From the moment his buddies bought him a lap dance from her, her trembles told him there was more to her than stiletto heels.
Leesa Santiago has met the perfect guy. Her timing couldn’t be worse though. If it was just their explosive sex, she could walk away. But from the moment her lap dance brought herthis close to his baby blues, she was hooked. She can’t lie that she couldn’t be happier to bear his name—or guiltier that she’s using it and his Oklahoma farm to hide out from mob hit men.
That’s before Chase’s family gets involved. And his determination to do the right thing pushes her to do the one thing that will keep him safe. Break his heart.
Do cowboy boots mix with stripper heels? And can a love that started out on the wrong foot end up on the right one? That’s the risk you take waking up in Vegas.
Warning: Contains one happy-ending lap dance that will make you squirm, some pretty hot sex between two strangers who also happen to be married to each other, and a huge surprise conclusion.
To be entered to win one of these books, leave a comment: Which book would you give away (if you’re brave enough) from off your shelf?

Which book? Mmm… I would give away my spare copy of Fate’s Edge by Ilona Andrews.
My local store had it in, and I bought it on the spot. Forgetting I had pre-ordered it from The Book Depository. 🙂 If anyone wants it, just send me a mail at lind.mikaela at gmail dot com and I’ll ship it as soon as possible, probably after the Holidays since everything in Sweden closes down until after New Year on friday 🙂
I’ve passed on several Debbie Macomber books, usually starting with my mom and then she has friends she gives them to.
When i have copies of a book i usually donate them to the local library. I also love to borrow them to a few friends i know will return them. Kindle lending is also fun to do with friends who don’t live around me. I would give away a copy of Animal Attraction by Jill Shalvis. I could list a big ole list of books i wouldn’t mind giving away though if i had them lol I enjoy hooking people onto the books i love.

PS love the excerpts above.
I let a friend borrow Fantasy Lover by Sherriyn Kenyon and Beyond the Highland Mist by Karen Marie Moning. The borrowing turned into giving since I never got them back. I have a signed copy of JR Ward’s Dark Lover which I don’t know if I could part with. It’s fun introducing people to new authors.
I have a couple I would give. A spare of Dana Marie Bells, one of the newer Lynsay Sands, and maybe a Angela Knight. I don’t have the title names with me, since the books are at home & I’m not.
Merry X-mas & may there be lots of new books for next year.
I have given away duplicates… a few others that did not say to me “keep me”…
I love the Colter’s Series by Maya Banks. I love those books!
If the likelihood of me rereading a book is low I give it away to friends or co-workers. I just gave three YA books to a co-worker for her teenage daughter.
I actually gave some books to my niece this week.
And to answer the question: Lauren Dane’s Laid Bare.
I would give my neice Sherrilyn Kenyon’s Chronicles of Nick series.
I use Paperbackswap.com to share books with other people all the time! It’s awesome! And we donate to the local friends-of-the-library as well as shop there 😉 Also, the kids’ school just had a book drive to which we happily hauled over a box of books. And DD’s class party is tomorrow, and one of the activities planned is a book exchange. We’ve wrapped half a dozen titles to share. As for MY shelf? I would find it hard to part with a signed keeper, but I do have other books I’d be happy to send off to a new home–I just finished What I Did for Love by Susan Elizabeth Phillips and loved it. Would be happy to share it with someone else! Everyone needs a new-to-them good read!
As a matter of fact, I just gave my friend at work my copy of Home Improvement: Undead Edition for Christmas-she loves the Charlaine Harris Sookie series and there is a new short in it, along with other terrific stories.
I gave a friend a copy of the first Bullet Catchers book recently. If I really like a book I have a hard time parting with it. But I don’t mind sharing extra copies.
I actually just gave away a few books this week on my blog. I know that doesn’t count though…If I were going to give away books I would probably start with Feehan’s Carpathian series. This series brought me into reading romance and I haven’t looked back since. 🙂
