Time to reach out and touch someone. The challenge today is to let someone you know you appreciate them.
Give someone a hug.
There’s no way I could make it without my friends. At this time of year I’m thinking about the people who have made a difference in my life, and the list goes on and on. Today, even if it’s a one-liner, or a one minute phone call, let at least three people know you are happy they are in your life.
And I’ve got gifts to give away. Some people I appreciate (I could list more but have to stop somewhere!)

I think it’s going to be my dad. We live six hours away from each other so I don’t get to do it enough.
Well it may not count but I always give extra hugs to my Monkey. First he’s six now and I’m. Not sure how much longer he will enjoy the hugs. Lol and I love him. So much and I want him to always remember that even if I get mad at him there is nothing in this world that could ever make me stop loving him. Wow I got really sappy. I would also give all my virtual friends a hug. They keep me going when sometimes I don’t want to.

My kids, who I imagine sometimes think Mom only yells 😉 And some friends who are there whenever I need, even when I’m not confident about asking for help. 🙂
My husband and kids. Already hugged my husband this morning when i got up and he was washing all the dishes lol My youngest turns 10 tomorrow but he is still all about the hugs. Asks for them a few times a day. Even my 16 year old likes to give me hugs and my oldest 20 will if i ask for one. Not to bad for a all male household.
I also gave a good friend a hug yesterday when she surprised me with a gift yesterday i wanted to buy myself but couldn’t afford this month. It’s been a rough few month for me health wise and she’s been there for me. Friends like that are hard to find.

My little nephew gets extra hugs from me… even my sister’s little dog likes hugs! 😀
My extra hugs would go to my grandma. She lives a 2 hour plane ride away… I miss her.
I’m going to give my little niece a hug. I usually only get to see her on the holidays.
I gave my husband, my dad and my brother hugs today. 🙂
My extra hugs go to my grandkids this year. Today is J-D’s sixth birthday, so he got lots of hugs today, since it is so close to Christmas, we need to make him feel special all for himself this one day. And I also gave my youngest son a hug for no real reason except that he is here and I love him, don’t always say it enough, because he’s at that age, you know? And does hugging the cat count? She has put up with a lot while the daughter and grandson were staying here, so I gave her some attention today.

This morning I hugged a couple of online friends, one who was going into the hospital for tests:( In person, I just hugged my daughter who’s next to me wrapping gifts. LOL She’s a wrapping fiend today!!!
Merry Christmas:) I’m very grateful for you, as a writer, but also as a person– you always bring a smile to my face.

No hugs for a couple days since Im sick and dont want to share my germs but I will be giving extra to my Daddy. His birthday is Christmas Eve!
