12 Days of Giving #10

Time to refocus…

Give a whole lot of Thanks.

When my kids were young and we lived in a rather remote location, I found a homeschooling community online. It was wonderful to have ‘adult’ conversation during the day, even though it was all written communication. The funniest thing though–I remember a lot of the ladies mentioning taking from Thanksgiving to Christmas off from formal schooling with their littlest children since the kids got lots of informal school writing Christmas cards, doing math during baking, etc.

I thought this was the most extraordinary thing. Take off from mid-october to Dec 25? Crazy! Then I realized they were taking about US Thanksgiving to December 25, which isn’t as insane as it sounds.

:D

But let's go a step farther. We've been busy lately, really busy, right? And there are moments of frustration that sneak in a make us want to throw up our hands or sit down and have a good cry. I challenge you to stop for just a minute and make a Thankful List. Fifteen things in Fifteen minutes or less. What are you thankful about this year? From the BIG picture down to the littler things. because it’s tough to be stressed over what’s happening in our lives while we’re being thankful for what’s happening in our lives.

One commenter will get a $10 Amazon or B&N gift certificate! You don't have to share your 15 if you don't want, but leave me a comment to be entered for the gift.

Nowadays there is lot of unforeseen circumstance which force people to take remedies. You can order medicines directly your office. In these latter days the stock you can find in online pharmacy is actually high. Some medications are as a rule used to treat many types of bacteria, such as tonsillitis and infections of the throat. Other ones are used to treat diabetes. Cialis is a remedy used to treat divers afflictions. What do you have to know about cialis order online? Presently many families search for the exact keyword ordering cialis online on the Internet. Perhaps you already read something about it. Having erectile dysfunction can beyond doubt complicate romance. What can cause erectile malfunction? A row of psychological issues can produce erectile disfunction. What should you discuss with a physician before taking Cialis? Any curing may cause dangerous side effects. Sometimes side effects can be actually dangerous. Talk to your pharmacist about the proper disposal of your remedy.

There are so many things I am thankful for, but most important is that I’m still here. The fire this past summer could have been so much worse, and I’m so thankful we all (even the cat) made it out of there. I’m thankful we still have a home, that I have a job, and that all of my family is healthy and safe. And I’m especially thankful that getting hit by a car didn’t sidekine during the busy holiday season. Most of all, I’m thankful that this year is nearly over, and hope that next year has much less drama for everyone.

Have the best Holiday ever!

It’s the little things in life like those woolly hats or a cup of hot chocolate on a cold day that make me happy I will confess. I don’t need big things or lots of money as long as I can enjoy those small things.
