Valerie Tibbs is the graphic artist member of International Heat, and she has racked up an impression 80+ covers for novels over the past year. During a chat the other day and she and I accidentally got called by each other's names.
I don't think I should be a cover artist. I'll stick to writing, please and thank you.
Here's why. When I finished my cowboy story, Rocky Mountain Heat, I decided to make a cover for it, for when my critique Partners and beta readers had the book. I had a picture I liked for the cowboy. How hard could it be?

Now that I've mentioned covers, I need to tell you that the cover for Tidal Wave is up against two other covers in a contest over at Embrace the Shadows.
