ARC-a-thon day 3 Deadlock Contest

Today is time for the working part. :D Here’s where you can enter to win an ARC of this fantastic story.

Abandoned by her wolf shifter father and raised by her human psychic mother, Carmen Mendoza can’t deny she’s different. She craves things most women shy away from–and she has a trail of shapeshifting ex-boyfriends to prove it.

Working at a clinic for supernatural creatures, she’s escaped the notice of her father’s legacy-obsessed family. Until they need a pawn in their bid for power. Snared by a vicious spell designed to wake her inner wolf, Carmen’s only hope is to trust the one man strong enough to soothe her darkest instincts.

Alec Jacobson was once the heir apparent to the wolves’ ruling elite, until he walked away to marry the woman he loved. She paid with her life. He lives as a rebel, a black-sheep alpha who protects the supernatural residents of New Orleans from the wolves’ barbaric class system. Too bad he can’t protect himself from his need for Carmen.

Yet staking his claim on his enemy’s niece will turn his city into a battleground. Unless he can find a way to stop breaking the rules–and start making them.

Warning: This book contains a renegade alpha wolf, a smart empathic doctor, very dirty sex with psychic safe-words, the occasional dominance game in and out of the bedroom, and a group of supernatural citizens ready to take on the corrupt leaders of their world.

I gave you an excerpt to enjoy yesterday, today you can throw your name into the hat for a chance to win. (Rules on Monday’s blog post, yada yada yada) To be entered, leave a comment and tell me if you were invited to play a children’s game with a Significant Other, what game would it be?

After commenting, you can head over to Moira Roger’s blog for an exclusive excerpt from my February release, Turn It Up.

Is Twister considered a child’s game? Yes, that’s my choice. If not, I would go with Hide and Seek.

Ahhh Lisa has the same answers I was thinking of… okay I will say Simon Says! :D

I think Tag might be pretty fun. :) Naked Tag would be extra fun.

Heather Brewer

I think either Twister or Hide and Seek would be the most fun or maybe strip monopoly or sorry might be fun too.

Kiss Chase and I wouldn’t run far or fast ;)

Cathy M

Great ideas ladies. I would add Spin The Bottle, you can never have enough sexy kisses.

Moonsanity (Brenda)

Cabana boy? Oh wait, that’s not a kid’s game is it? BAHAHAHA Strip poker? No wait…won’t work either. I think I’d have to with Hide and Go Seek– winner gets to pick the prize…ahem. LOL Oh, someone guessed that one. Damn. I got it! Remember the game where you whisper to the person next to you, and they repeat it, so on down the line? Well, in this game there is no line… just two people and naughty whispers.

Susan R

Definitely Naked Twister!! :D

oh i love how children’s games can become for dirty but Im thinking hide and go chase would be fun.

Nancy Gilliland

How about naked hopscotch-all those bouncing body parts.

Sherry S.

Since my first choice has already been said (Hide and Seek) how about Red Light/Green Light.

Kris M.

My first thought was Twister but I think I will go with Truth or Dare.

Andrea L

Hmmm…My first thought was Hide and Seek, but then I realized there’s way too much hiding in that game. I’m going with Twister.

Truth or Dare with a lot od Dare! :)

Kelly Thrash

Come on now don’t you guys remember playing doctor when you were little? :) I think I need a check up ;)

I would go with Twister, there are all kinds of fun things you can do with that game ;)

yay for naked twister lol

missy brown

I like them all, but what about snipe hunting?? that is something i remember playing a game on! hope that counts!

Naked Twister. ;)

Stephanie G

I know it has already been said but twister. That game begs to be played in a dirty way :-)

Cops and robbers! ;)

What about cowboys and indians. I know it might not be PC, but come on rope and chaps. Use your imagination. Get a little creative.

Hide and Seek, (naked) Twister, doctor… those are all great games. I think another good one is strip Battleship. Unless you’re wearing several layers of clothing, you can lose (win!) fairly quickly. ;)

Sullivan McPig

Hungry Hungry Hippos!
or maybe Leap Frog, that would be fun too.

Lindsey Ekland

I think Simon Says would be a good game.
